Customs and Immigration all in one room at the airport.

I got delayed here a while because I had no idea where I was going on the island. That didn't go over very well with the Immigration people. The "International Airport Development Company" (the people I was working with on this trip) said they'd take care of my lodging, but I didn't know the details. I figured there was probably someone from the IADC waiting for me outside, but I couldn't go out and ask them until I cleared Immigration. Catch-22. And no, IADC wasn't answering their phones. Immigration finally let me through when I called a hotel and found a room. Thank goodness my cell phone is quad-band GSM and works almost everywhere in the world.
